Content is king, it is everything! Though it still has other criterion for SEO, without content, it's nothing. What I am going to emphasize is that you must concentrate more on your content. Of course, url and heading are helpful when it comes to SEO. But, don't forget, links, urls of your site are just occupying a small little part of your site. In majority, contents take up more than half of a site/blog.
Every single blog needs traffic, for the sales, PPC——money. Let's put some exception for those who take blogging as hobby, or a place for them to express themselves. However, mostly, monetized blogs need traffic in order to get money. Though generating traffic is not a-day task, you can slowly work on it. It is as though a long term invest.

Searching for free domains, after loitering around yet found nothing?
Well, getting a domain is something necessary for someone who start blogging, a sale page, or even a business page. If you want to find a free domain with .net or .com, this may upset you. If they were still free, millions of people would snatch them away. Then, the web host would eventually dwell the domains for free, and just like you are just adopting one's life, without any returns. But, there are some free domains giving like .co.cc, .co.nr, .tk, though .com and .net are better, they need money =(.
But, .tk and other free domains are also not bad. You can make them a landing page for your site, which can build some backlinks back to you site as they redirect to your main site/blog. Besides, if you want to get rid of .blogspot.com , or .wordpress.com, which are seemingly odd, and these free domain are the best choice for you to start blogging. =)
Besides, Google search engine, Google itself has a lot of tools, like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tool, gmail, and bla bla blaa. A lot of free tools you can get from Google. But today, I'm going to talk about Google Analytics first.
In the last post, I've talked about the importance of meta tags. Even though it's not as important as the past, it could sometimes help crawler to know better or understand well what your blog is briefly about. Adding meta tags won't cost you a limb, but will earn you traffic——help you in SEO. So, just follow these few steps and let them do the rest. =D
