What is SEO?

SEO is a short form of Search Engine Optimization which is often considered as a technical part of internet marketing. Webmasters use this to promote their blogs in search engine while this costs them some technical knowledge on basic HTML. Basically, SEO can be defined as the effort to optimize your website or whole page in order to make them search engine-friendly, and hence getting higher ranking in search query.

Once of the simple truth of SEO is that even if you full-filled the necessity of SEO, this does not guarantee you that you will be top-ranked in certain huge search engine but if you disobey the rules of search engine, then you will certainly get penalty which may eventually ban you from search engine rankings. i.e. if your site is top-ranked in the 'dogs' search query, you should be more satisfied with top-ranking in 'dog-adopt' search query. However, there's no promise that you will stay on top-10-ranking of a specific keyword, but if do, it is centuries before.


SEO may be a day's effort or maybe a lifetime effort. If you are optimizing in a keyword which is low-populated and not competitive, in this case you don't have to devote large amount of time to be top-ranked. However, you want to be top-ranked of in certain search query, you have to pay more ample valuable time and effort to SEO.
